Environmental and Risk Assessment

CE has performed risk and environmental assessments associated with groundwater contamination, fugitive dust and air (stack) emissions to define potential impacts associated with on-site contamination and proposals for new industrial processing activities.

Utilizing the most current state-of-the-art models, CE has the capability to project air, surface water, and groundwater quality impacts. CE has available two- and three-dimensional air dispersion models (USEPA, Industrial Source Complex Model), two- and three-dimensional groundwater quality and flow models, dredging and dredge material disposal models (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Waterways Experiment Station).

As part of these services, CE has experience in the conduct of field monitoring surveys including air monitoring using high volume and personal air samplers, soil monitoring using various boring and augering techniques, and groundwater quality monitoring utilizing geoprobe and groundwater monitoring wells.
